01 What Is Good
Hearts of Abundance - Daniel Quartararo
"I find the 1st track, instructional, enjoyable, head-bobbing fun. . . I feel there is so much more to savor and most importantly, to reflect and act upon." -Johan David Villamonte
What do you suppose happens when we die?
And where do you suppose life comes from?
We may not know the writer of a book,
But we know someone must have written it.

We may not know the painter of a painting,
But we know someone must have painted it.
Do you suppose a book can come from nothing,
Making sense, and in perfect order?

How about a painting,
Do you suppose a painting could have
Painted itself from nothing?

There are scientists that call DNA the book of life.
There are scientists that call DNA the book of life.

Though you can find scientists to tell you
What you want to hear.

For there are particle physicists who say
Their studies indicate that nothing created everything.
And there are also particle physicists who say
Their studies indicate that Jesus of Nazareth has risen from dead.

But what I know to be true
Has nothing to do with science
Or even flawless Bible prophecies.

Bear with me here;
This can bring you life!
Even if you don’t like the music,
I hope you'll open your ears to it.

If God is good,
Then He will ensure justice.
For no good judge
Turns a blind eye to the criminal.

If God is good,
Then He will ensure justice.
For no good judge
Turns a blind eye to the criminal.

The very goodness
So many will depend on,
Is the very goodness
That has to punish evil.

The very goodness
So many will depend on,
Is the very goodness
That has to punish evil.

If God is good,
Then He will ensure justice.
For no good judge
Turns a blind eye to the criminal.

The very goodness
So many will depend on,
Is the very goodness
That has to punish evil.

The very goodness
So many will depend on,
Is the very goodness
That has to punish evil.

Bear with me here;
This can bring you life!
It can be easy to run,
So I beg you to set aside all pride and listen.

God’s a good judge;
In fact, He’s perfect
And God’s standard
Is nothing less than moral perfection.

God’s a good judge;
In fact, He’s perfect
And God’s standard
Is nothing less than moral perfection.

(So where’s that leave us?)

The Bible says God’s law
Is written on our hearts,
And it also says
Our consciences bear witness.

The Bible says God’s law
Is written on our hearts,

Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Romans 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

It also says
Our consciences bear witness.

Romans 2:15-29 - Romans 3 For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law 13 (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; 14 for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, 15 who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) 16 in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.

17 Indeed[b] you are called a Jew, and rest on the law, and make your boast in God, 18 and know His will, and approve the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law, 19 and are confident that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness, 20 an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, having the form of knowledge and truth in the law. 21 You, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that a man should not steal, do you steal? 22 You who say, “Do not commit adultery,” do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? 23 You who make your boast in the law, do you dishonor God through breaking the law? 24 For “the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,”[c] as it is written.

25 For circumcision is indeed profitable if you keep the law; but if you are a breaker of the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision. 26 Therefore, if an uncircumcised man keeps the righteous requirements of the law, will not his uncircumcision be counted as circumcision? 27 And will not the physically uncircumcised, if he fulfills the law, judge you who, even with your written code and circumcision, are a transgressor of the law? 28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; 29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.

Romans 3:1 What advantage then has the Jew, or what is the profit of circumcision? 2 Much in every way! Chiefly because to them were committed the oracles of God. 3 For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect? 4 Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written:

“That You may be justified in Your words,
And may overcome when You are judged.”[a]
5 But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unjust who inflicts wrath? (I speak as a man.) 6 Certainly not! For then how will God judge the world?

7 For if the truth of God has increased through my lie to His glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner? 8 And why not say, “Let us do evil that good may come”?—as we are slanderously reported and as some affirm that we say. Their condemnation is just.

9 What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin.

10 As it is written:

“There is none righteous, no, not one;
11 There is none who understands;
There is none who seeks after God.
12 They have all turned aside;
They have together become unprofitable;
There is none who does good, no, not one.”[b]
13 “Their throat is an open tomb;
With their tongues they have practiced deceit”; [c]
“The poison of asps is under their lips”; [d]
14 “Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”[e]
15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood;
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways;
17 And the way of peace they have not known.”[f]
18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”[g]
19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all[h] who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. 29 Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, 30 since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. 31 Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.

Romans 13:5  Wherefore [ye] must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

For this, God says,
We will be without excuse on the day of judgement.

Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. 18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

I again ask you to stick with me,
For excuses are without parameters.

Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man,
If he shall gain the whole world,
And lose his own soul?
37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man,
If he shall gain the whole world,
And lose his own soul?

37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

And to be without excuse,
This will be scary;
Think of a criminal
In front of a judge who knows everything.

To be without excuse,
This will be scary;
Think of a criminal
In front of a judge who knows everything.

22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Luke 16:15 “And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.”

Fear not;
God provided a way out;
From His prison,
He does wish to rescue you!

Fear not;
God provided a way out;
From His prison,
He does wish to rescue you!

2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

No it's not vain religion,
And good works won’t save you.
Try that in a court of law,
Judge you caught me, but I have done good too!

No it's not vain religion,
And good works won’t save you.
Try that in a court of law,
Judge you caught me, but I go to church too!

Genesis 15:6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Romans 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. 3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

You broke the law, the judge will say,
The good you’ve done has nothing to do with that!
You must pay the penalty
Of the justice that is due!

You broke the law, the judge will say,
Attending church has nothing to do with that!
You must pay the penalty
Of the justice that is due!

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Romans 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

God is a good judge,
There will be justice.

Job 34:12 "Surely, God will not act wickedly, And the Almighty will not pervert justice.

Isaiah 30:18 Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you For the LORD is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him.

But He’s rich in mercy,
And He does wish to save you!

Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

So, if it isn’t vain religion,

Genesis 15:6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Romans 4:2 2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. 3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

And if good works can’t save you,

Genesis 15:6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Romans 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. 3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

And it cannot be repentance;
For discontinuing crime doesn’t annul it.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Romans 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

And it cannot be repentance;
For discontinuing crime doesn’t annul it.

Try that in a court of law:
"Judge I did it,
But I won’t do it again!"

Try that in a court of law:
"Judge I did it,
But I won’t do it again!"

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

If it isn’t vain religion, good works, or repentance,
How do we escape what’s just,
Without forcing God to be a criminal;
An unjust judge; who will permit all evil?

Before we get to that,
Let’s see what His law says.
Let’s see what’s been written on our hearts,
It’s undeniable unless we’ve hardened them.

Hebrews 3:13 But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

Soften your heart,
Remember a time
Your conscious could speak to you!
(Could speak to you.)

Soften your heart,
Remember a time
Your conscious could speak to you!
(Could speak to you.)

Hebrews 3:13 But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

(If we’re honest)
We know that God should be first,
And we should not bow down to,
Or have any other gods before Him,

Exodus 20:1 And God spoke all these words, saying:

2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 “You shall have no other gods before Me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

And our conscious tells us
It is wrong to carry the name of The Creator
Who gave us life
To do evil or in vain.

Exodus 20:7 “You shall not carry the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who carries His name in vain.

We know we should remember
The Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Exodus 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

Revelation 3:13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. 14And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

We know it’s right to
Honor our father and mother.

Exodus 20:12 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

We know it is wrong to murder!

Exodus 20:13 “You shall not murder.

But in God’s eyes to strongly dislike someone
Is the same as murder
For it is murder of the heart (it’s murder of the heart).

1 John 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

noun
1. intense or passionate dislike:

We know it’s wrong to commit adultery

Exodus 20:14 “You shall not commit adultery.

And that faithfulness should be cherished.
And how many have given up on love they once desired
Because they’ve being cheated on?

Turning their hearts from love
And settling for superficial and painful relationships;
And piling on the pain from lust,
Lust that can never be satisfied.

What a sad world to live in
When it becomes permeated by adultery.
But to even look with lust,
Is considered adultery in the sight of God.

But to even look with lust,
Is considered adultery in the sight of God.
But to even look with lust,
Is considered adultery in the sight of God.

Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.

We know it’s wrong to steal.

Exodus 20:15 “You shall not steal.

We know it is wrong to lie
And white lies are a fallacy,
(But even if we throw out white lies,
A single lie leads to condemnation.)

Exodus 20:16 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

We know that we should not covet
Our neighbors wife,
Nor his goods,
Nor anything that is our neighbors.

Exodus 20:17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

We’ve just looked at the ten commandments,
They are truly undeniable, (And for our good)
Unless you’ve seared your conscious,
Then you must think back to a time when you were more pure.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,

Hebrews 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

Hebrews 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Break one commandment and break them all,
Because the entire law is love.
Transgress love in any one place
And transgress love as a whole.

James 2:10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.

Romans 13:10 Love works no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

The Lord God has spoken His undeniable law of righteousness!

Exodus 20:1 And God spoke all these words, saying:
2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 “You shall have no other gods before Me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that isin the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
7 “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
12 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
13 “You shall not murder.
14 “You shall not commit adultery.
15 “You shall not steal.

17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

It has been written on our hearts!

Hebrews 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

Romans 2:14-15 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

It witnesses in our conscious!

Romans 2:15 15 who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them)

And you would be right if you said that no man is righteous.
And you would be right if you said that no man is righteous.
And you would be right if you said that no man is righteous.
And you would be right if you said that no man is righteous.

Romans 3:10 10 As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one;

Only God is holy and perfect

Romans 15:4 Who shall not fear you, O Lord, and glorify your name? for you only are holy: for all nations shall come and worship before you; for your judgments are made manifest.

Romans 3:10 10 As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one;

Psalm 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is proven: he is a shield to all those that trust in him.

And only God is good!
And only God is good!
And only God is good!

Romans 3:10 10 As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one;

Weather or not you choose to believe it it's the truth.

Romans 1:19-20 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

Hosea 4:6 “ My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you shall be no priest to me: because you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.

And Jesus, He will prove Himself to you if you pursue Him with all your heart!

Jeremiah 29:13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

And Jesus said, that no one comes to the Father in Heaven except by Him,
A God; Jesus, whom every field of study has proven at that.

1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.

Matthew 5:18 And truly, Jesus also said,
Until heaven and earth pass away,
One jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law,
Till all be fulfilled

(such as Isaiah 11 and other end times prophecies).

So, let's pursue God for the right reasons:
A changed and redeemed life, from darkness into light;

1 John 1:5-10 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

A true, interactive, and obedient relationship with a living God.
And what this means I will explain to you if you will give me a chance.

John 14:15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments.

Luke 6:46 “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?

John 15:15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.

John 10 1 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. 5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” 6 Jesus used this illustration, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them.

7 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who ever came before Me[a] are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. 12 But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. 13 The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. 15 As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. 16 And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.

17 “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. 18 No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”

19 Therefore there was a division again among the Jews because of these sayings. 20 And many of them said, “He has a demon and is mad. Why do you listen to Him?”

21 Others said, “These are not the words of one who has a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”

The Shepherd Knows His Sheep
22 Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem, and it was winter. 23 And Jesus walked in the temple, in Solomon’s porch. 24 Then the Jews surrounded Him and said to Him, “How long do You keep us in doubt? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.”

25 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me. 26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you.[b] 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.”

31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him. 32 Jesus answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?”

33 The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.”

34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”’?[c] 35 If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), 36 do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? 37 If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; 38 but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe[d] that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.” 39 Therefore they sought again to seize Him, but He escaped out of their hand.

40 And He went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was baptizing at first, and there He stayed. 41 Then many came to Him and said, “John performed no sign, but all the things that John spoke about this Man were true.” 42 And many believed in Him there.

For truly, I’ve never met anyone who has
Genuinely given their life to Jesus and regretted it.

02 Priceless Self-Control
Hearts of Abundance - Daniel Quartararo
A soft and gentle walk in love.
What people value highly
Is detestable in the sight of God.
What people value highly
Is an abomination in the sight of God.

Those who justify themselves in the sight of men,
Their hearts God does know.
Those who justify themselves in the sight of men,
Their hearts, yes, God knows.

They will be sorely disheartened
On the day of the return of Jesus
They will be oh so sorely disheartened
On the day of the return of Christ.

Luke 16:14  Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. 15 And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.

Luke 16:14 (NIV) He said to them, "You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of others, but God knows your hearts. What people value highly is detestable in God's sight.

How many claim the Lord,
But they are not known by Him?
Many.

How many claim the Lord,
But they are not known by Him?
Many.

They will point to their works for Him, and He will cast them away
They will point to their works for Him, and He will cast them away

They will point to all they did for Him,
And in His name.
They will point to all they did for Him,
And in His name.

Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

If the righteous shall scarcely be saved,
What shall become of the ungodly and sinners?

1 Peter 4:18 “If the righteous one is scarcely saved,
Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”

Many will say:

“Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name?”
“Lord, Lord, did we not drive out demons in your name?”
“Lord, Lord, did we not perform miracles in your name?”
“Lord, Lord, did we not do many good works in your name?”

Not everyone who says to Him, “Lord, Lord,”
Shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven,
But only the one who does the will of the Father who is in Heaven.
Said Jesus.
Said Jesus.

Do not let your work be in vain,
Do nothing outside of Him.

John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

Do not pray to be used by God,
Instead seek Christ to be known by Him (and He will work with you)!

John 15:15 From now on I call you not servants; for the servant knows not what his lord does: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are laborers together with God: you are God's field, you are God's building.

God will use an empty vessel,
For the greater good.
But that does not mean that He knows them,
And that they are completing His will.

Numbers 22:28 And the LORD opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto you, that you have smitten me these three times?

Matthew 7:21-23 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Many have lost the meaning of faith,
Many have lost the meaning of faith,
In Jesus.
In Jesus.

By faith, repent and also deny yourself, pick up your cross daily, and follow Jesus to life.

We are in need of repentance.
We are in need of obedience.
We are in need of repentance.
We are in need of obedience.

It is not hard to hear God speak, (quiet your mind and listen for His still soft voice)
All in Him is easy and light,
It is not hard to hear God speak, (listen with a soft heart in expectant faith)  SLIHGLY loud
All in Him is easy and light,

God will restore the years the locusts have eaten
As you trust in Him.
God will restore the years the locusts have eaten
As you follow Him.

Romans 6:2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer in it?

Luke 9:23 Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily,[a] and follow Me.

John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

John 5:39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.

John 10:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

Matthew 11:30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

Habakkuk 2:2 Then the Lord answered me and said:

“Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.

Joel 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, and the consuming locust, and the cutting locust, my great army which I sent among you.

Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

James 2:18-26 18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your[d] works, and I will show you my faith by my[e] works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?[f] 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”[g] And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Moses; called as an old man!

Acts 7:23-37 23 “Now when he was forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren, the children of Israel. 24 And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended and avenged him who was oppressed, and struck down the Egyptian. 25 For he supposed that his brethren would have understood that God would deliver them by his hand, but they did not understand. 26 And the next day he appeared to two of them as they were fighting, and tried to reconcile them, saying, ‘Men, you are brethren; why do you wrong one another?’ 27 But he who did his neighbor wrong pushed him away, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge over us? 28 Do you want to kill me as you did the Egyptian yesterday?’ [a] 29 Then, at this saying, Moses fled and became a dweller in the land of Midian, where he had two sons.

30 “And when forty years had passed, an Angel of the Lord[b] appeared to him in a flame of fire in a bush, in the wilderness of Mount Sinai. 31 When Moses saw it, he marveled at the sight; and as he drew near to observe, the voice of the Lord came to him, 32 saying, ‘I am the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’  And Moses trembled and dared not look. 33 ‘Then the Lord said to him, “Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground. 34 I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt; I have heard their groaning and have come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send you to Egypt.”’

35 “This Moses whom they rejected, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge?’ is the one God sent to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the Angel who appeared to him in the bush. 36 He brought them out, after he had shown wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red Sea, and in the wilderness forty years.

37 “This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear.’

David; called when he was young and Godly
Their legacies have outlived them,
Through their faith in the eternal God,
They became just and were made right
By God’s grace.

Do not discount what the Lord does want to do in your life!

Your life has great purpose in the Lord!
Your life has great purpose in the Lord!

Romans 4:2 2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. 3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;

6 Seek his will in all you do,
    and he will show you which path to take.

Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself also in the LORD; and he shall give you the desires of your heart.

James 2:18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your[d] works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God.
